TIE DYE Megan was among the pioneers of 60's tie dye. |

|
Leila Megan Huggins Montiel's tie dye credentials include some large creations. She assisted Maureen Titcomb on Graham Nash's tie dyed velvet curtains ca 1973 And she help tie dye the large teepees for the Medicine Ball Caravan of 1970. Back then they used aniline dyes which gave fabulous, subtle colors, but had extremely toxic fumes as they were set with lye. "Lye Tie Dye". |
